On June 18-21, 2007, Kyocera held a conference for its distributors. The meeting was organized in Kyoto, Japan. Kyocera distributors from Russia and Ukraine were also present at the conference.
During the conference the top management of Kyocera Mita informed they were satisfied by the results of Kyocera Mita Europe. Over 48% of all Kyocera printing products distributed in the world were sold in Europe in 2006.
The management of the company has also informed about its plan to build a new factory for manufacturing color toner for Kyocera printers and MFPs. Kyocera will also build a 30-storied R&D center for its own needs. The R&D center will be built in Japan.
