Canon installed the biggest outdoor ad in Moscow.

Canon installed one of the biggest outdoor ads in the world. This ad was installed in Moscow, at Street Kalujskaia 1. The height of the letters is from 11.55 m to 9.27 m and the whole length of the construction is 55.3 m.



People from Canon Europe expect this ad to be seen by over 6 million people per month.

This is not the first large outdoor ad campaing of the company in the Russian market.
Canon is also one of the primary sponsors of the Russian football premier league from 2006. Canon's logos are placed in 16 Russian stadiums and the authorities of the company say the logo placed in the stadiums are seen by 38 million people per year.

These actions tell again about the increasing interest of Canon to become the leading brand in Russia.

The vice president of Canon Europe, Akio Ito, proves it by saying the company is interested very much in the Russian market and has a lot of plans for it.

In 2006 the overall growth of sales of Canon branded products in Russia increased by 27,2% as compared with 2005. Quite a large portion of the sold Canon products belongs to printing devices.
