Samsung scandal

Corruption has always haunted South Korea. But now the country’s most resprected company and its president Roh Moo Hyun are engulfed in scandal. On Nov. 14. three liberal parties in Korea proposed a bill in Parliament, which requires an independent prosecutor to probe allegations of bribery by Samsung. Samsung is accused of regular bribes to government officials. Samsung denies all charges.
